I will be appearing at "Off the Richter Scale," Sunday 9 October, starting at 12:30 p.m. in the San Francisco Public Library's Koret Auditorium (100 Larkin Street, near City Hall). Other authors slated to read include Samina Ali, Andrew Sean Greer, Jason Headley, Julie Orringer, ZZ Packer and a host of other tremendous talents. I will be reading near the beginning of the event.
